PROGRAMS

Health Systems

We work in rural high SCD burden communities in Kenya where we work with local governments to enhance resilience of primary and tertiary level facilities to provide SCD care.

Through partnership, we strengthen healthcare provider capacity, diagnostics and establish sustainable models to make SCD essential medicines and mainstays available. This ensures early and continuous access to SCD care throughout the patient continuum of care.

We work community health workforce to monitor and evaluate program delivery at household and patient levels. Our household vulnerability assessments allow us to accompany patients through targeted psychosocial and livelihood support.
